Isabel is going to Jose Ortega for 5th grade

I just registered her today and wow. The school is so nice. I had no idea how much better it looks than Starr king. Isabel will Love it. It will be a trek for us but it will be worth it for her.

Camping this weekend in Samuel Taylor park

Just 75 min from our house, we are here camping since yesterday with Starr king 4th kinder and 3rd grade families. Awesome tall red trees. Kids are having a blast. We are learning about starting fires and using coal stoves and exchanges supplies with neighbors.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Alexis told me yesterday. " my favorite holiday is tomorrow - happy Mother's Day! I have 3 cards for you and left a fourth one at jackson (her after school program)". How sweet! This is that first one. ;-)

Happy 10th bday to isabel

Can't believe I have a 10 year old. Had to pause there to really think about this. Time has flown. I still remember the first time I held her in my arms - 7lbs and a face of an angel.

Luckily she is still an angel - loving, kind, creative, curious, energetic, passionate. I love it that she still wants to hang with mommy and sleep with mommy. Hopefully I have a few more years of it.

We hosted a sleepover for her three besties on Saturday and then had flan and presents today - her actual bday.

Isabel was at warriors game centerstage at halftime

Warrior community outreach came to isabel elementary school 2 weeks ago. Isabel along with 4 other kids were selected to represent Starr king elementary to create “peaceful warriors “ art (near end of video). They also got free ticket to the sat game at oracle arena against New Orleans. Near end of video, you can see isabel centerstage at half time warrior game in oracle arena helping to unveil the they created with adobe.

A very happy Disney visit

We are spending 5 days at Disneyland. Kids are having a good time. We are walking a ton and good thing since we are eating all kinds of junk food - cotton candy, dole whip yogurt, turkey leg, pop corn, frozen lemonade. One more day tomorrow.
