Early Presents from Grandma / Grandpa Han

Grandma and Grandpa Han have dispatched her elves (me and Agnes) to start getting some presents for Isabel for her upcoming 2 year old birthday. here is the first batch :-).

• Her new kingdom - the foldable tent below replaces sadly her apt which is torn up a bit.  It folds to a very portable size to bring to the park or to grandmas
• A laughing dog toy - you will have to come over to see what I mean
• Disney story book - with 75 short popular stories to read to Isabel

Her new favorite toys from Grandma Grandpa Han

Grandma and Grandpa Han dispatch their elf (me) to get many presents for Isabel this holiday including practical things like overnight diapers, rain cover for stroller, rain boots and overall for Isabel. The latest things that arrived in the mail are more fun and Isabel's favorite toys - a talkable tea pot and cuttable fruits. She plays with them every day. Here are two videos

I sometimes wonder why we as parents buy any toys at all. Isabel love this latest toy. It's big, it has holes /door, it's hours of fun and it's FREE!

Isabel's New Ride

I got this for her 3 weeks ago and she loves it. She plays on it everyday. It's a toy that can be used 3 ways - first as a rocker, then as a tricycle with a handle I can push, then an independent tricycle when she gets older (I can remove the handle). very cool toy!

She loves it. We were at someone's house for a baby shower and Isabel had a ball.

Another Inexpensive Toy for Isabel

Isabel is definitely not materialistic. In fact, she seems to love mommy's stuff that cost nothing. First there was the water bottle. Now it's the camera case. Enjoy!

Who said babies need expensive toys? That's just the result of marketing to nervous new moms. As you can see in this video, Isabel is perfectly happy with her new toy, that cost mommy nothing :-). She is actually fascinated by it. Enjoy!
