Isabel was at warriors game centerstage at halftime

Warrior community outreach came to isabel elementary school 2 weeks ago. Isabel along with 4 other kids were selected to represent Starr king elementary to create “peaceful warriors “ art (near end of video). They also got free ticket to the sat game at oracle arena against New Orleans. Near end of video, you can see isabel centerstage at half time warrior game in oracle arena helping to unveil the they created with adobe.

A very happy Disney visit

We are spending 5 days at Disneyland. Kids are having a good time. We are walking a ton and good thing since we are eating all kinds of junk food - cotton candy, dole whip yogurt, turkey leg, pop corn, frozen lemonade. One more day tomorrow.

Isabel black history month presentation rap song to Maya Angelou

Isabel represented her class in 3rd grade in making a speech last year in Chinese and English. This year in 4th grade, they are asked to create a poem/rap song about Maya Angelou. they worked in pairs. Isabel and Maya LIn work together and their poem/rap song was selected by her teacher to represent their class. Here they are all reciting the poem. :-) She is way more creative than I ever was in 4th grade.
