Christmas dinner feast at Emily and Roy's

Our Christmas celebration concludes with a feast at Emily and Roy's. We had cracker cheese and pate and spiked punch while watching Antman and then we had a gourmet dinner of prime rib, potato gratin, cauliflower and popovers followed by three flavored of cheesecake. We were all in culinary heaven and food coma. Of course the kids were showered with more gifts from their aunt and uncle. We got home at 11pm and Alexis was sound asleep.

Let's the xmas gifts begin

We did the full Santa routine this year complete with cookies and milk for Santa plus a note from Santa thanking the girls for the cookies.

Friday morning. The girls were good to wait until 1030 to open most of their presents. I hid a few for the following day since there were so many. The biggest hits are the miles from tomorrow land stellosphere from my parents and shopkins of course. Santa also go t Alexis lalaloppsie and Minnie per her request and Isabel jump rope and math workbook, origami paper etc. per her request.

Dumplings on xmas eve

Home made dumplings on xmas eve reminds me of Chinese New Year during my childhood. Isabel helped with making some and ate about 12 of them. We also had some eclectic side dishes for the wine - like cabbage and pig eat salad. Jaime actually had some. It was yummy. And then some gizzards and liver which my dad and I like. Hehe.
