A day at Galveston beach
On Sunday, we drove 90 min to go to the beach. The temperature was 78 degrees and just perfect. Sand was very fine and the kids loved it. They literally played in the sand and by the ocean for 3 hours. Super fun
Strawberry picking at Froberg farm near houston
It was a perfect day, a little cloudy and breezy 80 degrees. We drove 40 min to this farm to pick strawberries. Since it was Monday, very few people. We picked 5 lbs in 35 min. At $2.45 a pound it was a steal. We had a great time and had a nice lunch nearby

Arrived safely in houston last night
Despite an hour delay, kids were happy and we arrived safely in houston last night at 8pm. Having lots of movies on the plane really helped. We flew one of those international planes on united so had a monitor and choices of hundreds of movies and games in front of each seats. ;-)

A blessing in disguise - Alexis loses a tooth
10 days ago Alexis fell on the stairs at her preschool and knock out one front teeth. She was very brave and only cried a little.
The tooth fairy of course came and she found $2 crisp bills under her pillow where the tooth used to be (now safely in Mommy's drawer, shhhhh)
What is a blessing is we used this opportunity to help Alexis stop sucking her thumb. We convinced her she may lose another tooth or her tooth can get infected if she still sucked her thumb. It's not completely false. There is an chance.
Alexis had been sucking her thumb since a baby and we tried all different soft methods to help her stop. No luck until now. We are secretly hoping this will stick. She agreed to wear a small glove at night to help her remember not to suck. Since it would be yucky to do so and that reminds her. It has been a week and we think it's working.
Crossing our fingers. ;-). Still a cutie with missing tooth. My cutie.

I didn't know I can draw
My kids loves to draw and I decided to give it a shot on Saturday. To my surprise, I can draw. Who knew? The first two and last one are mine, isabel drew toothless and Alexis drew meatlug. A new hobby. Yay! Very fun. ;-). My kids are inspiring me to try so many things.
