Alexis can write numbers and letters

She is learning how to write at home and at preschool. She can now write her name as long as we tell her the letters to write. ;-). Growing up so fast

Wonderful day discovery kingdom

It took an hour to get there. It was the most crowded we have ever seen it. Yet we manage to have a great day. We met up with one of isabel friend Kaia and her mom. We saw the dolphin show, stood in long lines for ice treats, and left in time to avoid the zombies at night. Also had amazing dinner at sue kitchen somewhere near Hercules.

Isabel can do a full cart wheel now

She has been wanting to do this since August. It's amazing how kids can just learn it. Kids seem to be able to achieve anything with focus, practice and techniques. Something for us all to learn even as adults. ;-)

Flying high in vegas

For $40 a person, we flew high above vegas for 3 min and had a great time. Jaime and I and jaime Frat buddy jake did it together yesterday.

Dennis wedding at auntie sues house

It's been 8 years since we been here at auntie sues house. Coincidentally the last time we were here jaime and I wore the exact same outfit ;-). Eight year old on Aug 18 is when auntie sue hosted our wedding reception with a Hawaiian theme. How time has flown.

It was nice to see everyone again. Of course the food was amazing. Laura is good friends with chef Erick from the famous Vic and Anthony steakhouse from the golden nuggets. He personally took the day off and bought 40lbs of steak so he can cook it for Laura and Dennis' big day.

Wedding was moving. Laura and Dennis looked so happy. We are so happy for them. The band they hired was also really talented. Lead singer is Mahi from American idol. He was funny and versatile. We had fun dancing to his pop songs from Bruno Mars to Meghan trainer.

All in all a perfect day for their happy wedding. Glad we could make it. Jaime has known Dennis since they were babies.

First night on Fremont st in vegas

It was a trip to walk out of our hotel and right onto Fremont street. The roof was all a video screen. It felt like day time although it was night. All kinds of people were out there. It was 1030pm. Luckily we walked all the way to the end of Fremont st and found Therapy. Only 3 month new, awesome food. Nice staff.

Ghost bar at palms

I was able to get some vip passes for ghost bar so decided to check it out. Nice view ok music. People were having fun dancing. I even got a free drink. Cab ride to and from were pricy though since we are in old vegas. $20 each way. At least everything else was free 😘😝

Our stay at golden nugget vegas

We upgraded our room to gold club level and it was much better. Our first room was depressing. Guess we are spoiled now. The pool is nice with a huge fish tank and awesome water slide. No lines today so I was on it at least 6 or 7 times. It goes through the shark tank and is pretty fast. :-)

All thanks to Agnes decorating genius. Everything was delivered by Thursday. We love it! It's like we expanded our living room. ;-).

Isabel gets 2nd place at hola hoop competition

We went to the dragon boat festival two weeks ago at treasure island. While waiting for the opening ceremony, they had an impromptu hula hoop competition. I am really proud of isabel to just go up there. There were 10 kids and adults. Isabel was surprisingly good. I had no idea.
