Cousins bonding time

Alexis and her cousin gabby got to play for two days before gabby's school started. So CUTE and so much attitude.

Reunion with auntie joanne

It's been almost 4 years since we met up with auntie joanne who is jaime's moms first cousin and also a global M&A finance expert. Auntie joanne lives in the Philippines and comes here for business once in awhile. This is the first time in awhile that we could all get together.

We all met up at PF Chang's at Stanford shopping center for dinner. Food was just okay but the service was fantastic. It was nice that she finally met Alexis for the first time. Mom also surprised her with balloons and cake for an early bday celebration.

Our youngest friend michia

Michia used to work for jaime at virool and is one of most brilliant online marketers we know. He has owned his own company and has been head of online marketing for a billion dollar corporation while he was still in college.

He is now 24. We are enjoying getting to know him, talking about strategy marketing and life and the kids love him too. We just haven't figured out what the kids should call him. Probably just michia since uncle michia doesn't seem right either. ;-)

We are blessed to live in SF and meet many diverse talented people.

A big milestone weekend

It was the weekend before the first day of school. It also turned out to be a big milestone weekend

1. We sold our crib - Lexi has been sleeping in the bed for a few months now so its time. A nice family from glen park with a 8 months old boy bought everything. Isabel cried for awhile after that. I felt like crying too. Its hard to see it go but its time.

2. We bought online a nice sofa seat sleeper to fill the space for the crib. It will come next Friday. Yay!

3. We finally turned around Alexis car seat. She was so happy that she asked to see if we would let her sleep in the car. Its a whole new world for her.

Friday at San Ramon water park

I took Friday off to spend some time with the kids at San Ramon water park. It was our first time there and we had lots of fun. Alexis loved the kiddie pool and isabel and her friend Alina loved jumping into the kids pool that was only 3 feet deep.

I even had time to do some laps in the Olympic pool. A really nice day

First day of school - First Grade

Isabel is such a big girl now. Six year old and going to first grade. We are so proud of her. ;-)
