I passed my piano test - grade 1

I tried to learn piano when I was a kid. But I never liked it. When isabel started piano a few years back, I decided to learn as well from the same teacher. It's been a slow but fun process. Kumiko is super encouraging. It took a good three months of practice to prep for this test. I was sure I failed it but was pleasantly surprised that I passed with Merit :-).

Isabel taught Alexis how to play chess. And now they are having fun playing against each other. We also bought a solitaire chess game for them to practice. Soon enough they will be kicking my butt :-)

Bangara dancing showcase

A perfect day at Antioch water park

It's my first day off and I took my parents and our family to Antioch water park. Its got slides for small kids and they let you bring your own food. Perfect for a 89 degree weather. ;-). We had a blast but are happy to be in cool sf weather again.

Big girl Lexi

Alexis decided to brush her teeth, change, make the bed all by herself and proactively without us asking today. She is such a big girl.

As a reward, she got 5 stars and a new pair of sunglasses. This last one is her gymnastic outfit. My precious little one.
