Spent the day at Coronado island

Very low key town with big streets and lots of traffic surprisingly. The hotel del Coronado is beautiful. We sat at the sun deck bar and grill, had a cocktail and bantered about life while overlooking the ocean. Very relaxing.

Saw this amazing sandcastle on the beach. See photos. Had lobster and crab roll snack on the way back. Yummy. Now on our way back to the ferry to go back to our hotel.

On the ferry to Coronado

It's 73 degrees and warm in San Diego. We walked from the grand Hyatt to the Broadway pier to take the ferry to Coronado island.

Feels more like 80 degrees. Love the warm sun. Life is good. We just had some ice coffee and avocado toast.

On a social cycle tour in San Diego

A pub crawl while we bike down gas lamp. Super fun and social.

We booked it only 90 min ago. Spontaneous. Love it. :-)

Endless creativity

My kids love these blocks. Every day they can just sit there for an hour to creating new structures with these blocks and do pretend play. here's their creation today.

Roller blading for the first time

I bought isabel these blades a year ago. We finally used them this morning. She picked it up fast since she can ice skate.
