First of many reunions in China

I haven't seen my two cousins zhao ying in over five years and zhao Peng in over two years. It was nice to finally get together in Tianjin. The three of us grew up together since I was a little girl until I left for the states. We always stayed in touch. It was a very nostalgic evening and great for isabel to meet her uncles at lady and her cousins.

Isabel first big donation

For Isabel's birthday, she agreed to have others donate money on her behalf instead of getting presents. I am super proud of her for agreeing to it. We collected $245 from bday party guest and isabel insisted on split the donation between her school Starr King and her after school program, jackson playground.

I just wrote the checks and sent them in right before we left for China. She even made a card as part of her donation to Jackson playground. She loves that program and we are so glad we switched to it starting first grade

I am super proud of isabel for being so generous and contributing to her public programs. She is growing up to be such a caring girl.

Favorite photo in China

Day 2 of our China trip. We went with my cousin and his kids to the famous park in Tianjin. Had a very nice time. I love doing these fun jumping photos. This first one was captured perfectly and my favorite so far of our trip. :-). Isabel is having a blast meeting her cousins and speaking Chinese. Still jet lagged

We are at creativity museum carousel. Alexis is such a big girl now. I don't have to stand next to her anymore as she rides. She is getting to be so independent. Sniffles....
