Another family fun run

We go to the Playworks fun run every year. It's 1 mile and even Lexi ran at least a few hundred yard. Best part lots of free snacks and drinks and games for the kids afterwards.

Our new balcony set up

Sunday was hot so we had gazpacho with crab meat for dinner outside on our balcony. It was so nice.

Amazingly fun Segway tour

Jaime and I went on this tour this morning finally. We have been meaning to do it for years. We had so much fun. Segways are easier to ride than I thought although my legs and butt are kind of sore. ;-)

Amazing - isabel learns how to bike in 20 min

Granted she still need to practice more but I was amazed isabel picked up right away. The trick was 1. Practice on grass. Slower and more control. Seems less scary for her 2. Start her down a small hill which gave her momentum. Once she could ride a Little she was addicted. Go isabel!

I didn't take many. Ironically it was jaimes friend wen that taught isabel how to bike at first. He taught his son two weekends ago and the same method worked like a charm. ;-). We can now do more practice for isabel. She probably needs a bigger bike as well.

First day at preschool was good

Alexis did fine at the first day of school. She cried only a little, napped well. At night though she told us she didn't want to go back. It will be a process. We will see what happens on Friday. She is only going two days a week.

Alexis first day of preschool

It's September 1 and Alexis started preschool at Russian hills academy today. She was excited and nervous. I was somewhat sad to see my baby grow up and start her next stage. She may say she doesn't want to go, but I know in a few weeks she will love it and make new friends and become a little kid.

Time flies. Life is short. I am savoring every moment while they are young and still want me to play with them.

On a separate note, agnes and I were going to spend the day at discovery kingdom enjoying adult roller coasters finally. Well good thing we checked before going. They are now closed on the weekdays and only open on weekends. C'est la vie. Time to get back to work. 😜
