I think she has seen this in shows. She just decided to try at Mygym and after a few tries, she can already go up pretty far. I was amazed. ;-)

Fun first day in Houston

We went to the mall, did a little shopping, had lunch and dipping dots and played at the play area.

Later went to the nearby splash park. Perfect temperature. Am so lucky Houston cooled downed a bit when we arrived. ;-)

Isabel first day of school with new teacher

Her teacher seems quite good. Isabel likes her already. She is from Taiwan and used to teach at Jose Ortega

We are in our way to houston

Just Alexis and I as isabel started school already. They both got up early so we can get to the airport in time. Agnes took the bus with isabel to school.

We got to sfo in perfect timing only to be at the gate to find out flight is 90 min delayed due to thunderstorms in houston. So we had time for breakfast and two games of Spot It. Now waiting at the gate to board. I hope we don't have to wait on the plane.

So far Alexis has been super patient. What a good girl!

Isabel first day of school - 2nd grade

Isabel jumped out without hesitation. Can't believe she is already in second grade. She is so happy to have many of her friends in the same school including Hana, Nina, Maya P, Lukas, etc.

Cynthia wang is their teacher. She is from Taiwan and worked at Jose Ortega before. Her Chinese is excellent and love her energy and she has good control of the students.

We also met the new assistant principal, Matt. Seems nice. See last photo.

Potential Halloween costume for Alexis

We visited our friend Jin house and she showed me the costume she made by hand for her son - kung fu panda or the Giants panda. So cute.

Great play date at adventure playground

In Berkeley. The adventure playground is more for 7 year old and up so Lexi and I played at the playground while isabel played with her friends from starr king. They did zip lining climbing painting etc. then we all went for Indian food nearby
