Lending a hand to the philippines

Wells Fargo was sponsoring a fundraiser of some sort to help the Philippines. All we had to do was draw our hands and then color it with the Philippines flag colors.

We had fun as a family to channel our inner artist.

Memorial Day at Antioch water park

We had a fun day at anitoch water park on Monday. Didn't take too many photos. It was 95 degrees but had a nice breeze. Traffic luckily was good as well. An hour each way. We had a blast. The kids napped happily on the way home. We were there from 11-4:30

We are all artists

When we went to California adventures 3 weeks ago, we went to animation studio and learned how to draw Olaf and piglet. It was an 15 min session for each and amazingly we all learned a lot.

After an hour and 45 min wait, Isabel finally got to talk to Frozen's queen elsa and princess Anna. Was it worth it? Isabel was so happy. Seeing her smile so happily made it all worth it. Besides, there were folks waiting 4 hours. We all bonded while we waited Lei

Alexis is getting to be so big

Puzzle mania

Alexis started learning how to put together puzzles recently. At first it took awhile for her to put together a 12 piece puzzle.

Now we cannot stop her. She can put together any 24 piece puzzle on her own.

Just like isabel who still live puzzles, we are now doing puzzles almost everyday. Alexis loves it so much. She even opts out going out to the playground so she can work on the puzzles. A true egg head!

The best part is when she does one on her own and then she stands up and says "Tada!!" And we go over to check it out and applaud.

A very happy mothers brunch

We met with jaime's family for a Filipino buffet brunch at Fort McKinley. It was delicious. Thx mom for the treat.

Our third and last day at Disneyland

We ended up spending most of the day at California adventures. Our last day was more mellow since we did most of things we wanted to do already.

It was more about hanging out with old friends and new ones.

In the morning, I was surprised that isabel got up by 830. So we were at the park by 10. My friend Alby met us there. She LOVES Disney land and has annual pass with no blackout dates.

She got there before us so scooped out some schedules for us. Here was our day
- got fastpass to radiator springs racer again and soaring over California and goofy sky school
- tried a new ride silly symphony swings. I didn't like it. Made me dizzy but isabel did with her new favorite aunt Alby. Isabel decided that they will sit together for all the rides.
- we had yummy chili lime corn and popcorn for snacks. Delicious. Isabel ate her butter corn before we finished ours. She loved it.
- did toy story midway mania shooting game again. Lucked out that they just opened around 1145 so the line was short
- went to goofy sky school while daddy went to soaring over Cali. He didn't like the sky school ride.
- we had an excitement since daddy had all our fast passes but was in the soaring ride already. They were nice to let us in and Alby spoke to them to make sure the guy inside also understood. She is a true veteran of the place
- lunch at pilot grill with chicken sandwich , burger and chili cheese fries. Very healthy - ha and super yummy

We were pooped and got home by 215 to nap. Alby left also to see her hubby play softball.  It's awesome to have her as a guide that morning.  Thanks Alby!

Isabel napped for 2.5 hours and was ready to go again by 6. We got our usual snacks at the club lounge and found our Hawaiian friends we just met to go together back to California adventures.
- mad tea party band was great. Isabel danced her heart out
- we drew OLAF at animation academy - ours turned out pretty good.
- monster inc ride
- mater junkyard jamboree was really fun
- did the car ride again awesome
Then the boys bailed - jaime, scott from Hawaii and Gabrielle his son to watch the baseketball game.

The girls Deanne and Sasha plus isabel and I went to Disneyland for some more fun. Isabel really wanted to see captain eo again and Sasha who is 4 didn't want to leave Isabel's side.

We ran right into the spectacular fireworks and saw captain eo again. I am impressed how much isabel like it. She insisted we go. We then called it a night. We were exhausted and was in bed by 1130 pm.

What a great trip!
