Isabel's 5 year check up

She is 3 feet 7 inches - wow - 50% for height and 45% for weight. Perfectly healthy. Yeepy!

Cousin love

Isabel is so happy to have gabby living so close. They are like best friends - laughing one sec, fighting the next and then laughing again after that.

Isabel's Ballet Recital - Sun May 12

It was such a great Mother's day present to see Isabel perform in her Ballet recital. We lucked out and got front row seats on the side. I was able to put her hair in a bun and add a little makeup for her. She was more than excited and danced beautiful. Here are the videos and photos Lei

Alexis is 17 months old

Time flies. Thank goodness she still smells like a baby. Look at those cheeks. Just want to munch on them all day long. Luckily she still lets me. ;-)

China has arrived

We are walking home from the ferry building and what do we see? China daily is now one of six newspaper stand by our apt in sf.

This is how influential and important China has become in the US. I am proud. While I am very Americanized, I am still Chinese at the core. ;-)

The day before isabel turns 5

I can't believe isabel is turning 5 tomorrow. Time flies and she is definitely becoming more opinionated. Not looking forward to teenage years
